Don't forget to go see Wayne Wheeler at the Easton Elementary School on Glenwood Avenue at the Artist Workshop. Wayne will be carving a duck from start to finish using hand tools. |

Carver Gone Green At The 2008 Waterfowl Festival

Wayne will be carving in the window again at the Coldwell Banker office on 31 N. Harrison in St. Easton, Md. during the Waterfowl Festival November 14, 15, & 16 from 10:00 am to 6 pm. The window display theme is "Carver Gone Green" Wayne will recycle materials such as golf clubs, and telephone poles to make carvings. Stop in and say hello and see what Wayne is up to this year. |

Featured Artist at Dorchester Center for the Arts

Wayne is one of the featured artists at the Dorchester Center for the Arts located at 321 High Street in Cambridge, Md. for the month of October. Wayne's work is on display through November 1, 2008. Purchases can be made through the arts center. |

Second Place at Easton Waterfowl Festival Window Display Contest
|
|
Wayne won a second place award in the window display contest at the 37th Easton Waterfowl Festival at the COLDWELL BANKER REAL ESTATE OFFICE on 31 N. Harrison St. Easton, Md. Wayne created a display of an authentic decoy carving shop, and demonstrated carving and painting techiques all weekend long. Wayne is a full time real estate agent with Coldwell Banker. Wayne says "buy or sell with me and get a carving for free". At every settlement Wayne always gives his clients a carving. See the photo in the gallery. |

Wayne Wheeler's carvings are in collections all around Maryland and Virginia. They are as far south as Bermuta, as far west as Stanwood, Washington, and as far east as Hirosaki, Japan, and also in places in between. Wayne will be glad to ship one of his carvings to you where ever you are.
There seems to be a world wide interest in wildlife carving and this website. Award Winning Carver

This is the begining of the fourth year for Wayne in competitions. Wayne has won forty six awards, including three Best in Show, three Second Best in Show, two Third Best in Show, fifteen first place, and numerous second, third and honorable mention awards. He is now getting ready for future competitions. |
